We’ll combine storytelling and scene work with music and singing, and have some musical games like the singing parts on ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway’. Who can attend: Anyone who likes music or improv. We do two in-person jams a week and one online jam, bi-weekly. We also host Improv Movie Nights, Improv Open Mics, Quiz & Gamenights, Writer-Improviser Jams, Improv masterclasses and professional shows.

Chitra is an actor, improviser, singer, scriptwriter, and storyteller with 25 years of experience as a performing arts practitioner. From a young age she had big dreams of growing up to become "Miss Hawa Hawaii", a character from her favourite childhood movie. Once she attended her first theatre camp as a child, there was no looking back! She regularly consults with theatre troupes such as Bangalore Little Theatre and No Pressure Improv, and has also been a member of the Bangalore Storytelling Society and the Federation of Asian Storytellers.

In her long career as a learning and development professional, she has worked with MNC's, non-profits and small businesses to manage their projects in documentation, diversity and inclusion, as well as people development. She also coaches people one-on-one to help them get more confident with their communication skills and career plans. At No Pressure Improv, you can connect with Chitra to see how you can use the magic of improv to become a better a team player, or a confident storyteller. 

When she is not working or jamming as an improviser, Chitra is quite the pop culture nerd. She is always game to sing a song, and loves to share a fun fact or two about the song she is singing! She is also an avid forwarder of cat videos.

Malcolm Carvalho is an improviser, programmer, and writer of poetry and fiction. He started improvising with Improv Comedy Bangalore in 2018. Since then he has often combined improv with other parts of his life. He has taken arbitrary turns on a cycling ride, just to see where the road would take him. He has improvised his bug fixes and uncovered more bugs, thus maintaining the bug equilibrium in his code. He also improvises poetry and when last seen, he was writing a poem titled ‘Fast Keyboard Sandwich’.

Malcolm is a graduate of Bangalore Writers Workshop and the Odyssey Writing Workshop. Born in Mumbai and having moved to Bangalore a decade ago, he proudly tells people his K2K journey was not from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, but from Kurla to Koramangala.

Aditya is a musician and a songwriter. His musical journey began in 2011 as a bass player for Blues and Rock n roll bands.

Post covid, Aditya moved on from performing in bands to writing songs. He has released four songs so far and has many more lined up for release in the next 12 months.

After playing in bands that jam and improvise a lot on stage, Aditya has also been a part of musical improv workshops as a musician who supported improvisers with his guitar/keyboard. He has also performed as a musical improviser on many occasions.

Aditya is also a weekend music teacher who teaches the basics of guitar, ukulele and keyboard.
