Calling all curious creatures!
This open call invites participants for the second session of the Science-Art-Life Choir & Conference by Five Million Incidents Actant Shreyans Iyer. The workshop will take place on Saturday, 19 October 2019 from 12-noon until 16:30, at Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan New Delhi.
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, 9 October 2019.
Disclaimer: An RSVP does not ensure participation. There is a selection process and you will be contacted by the organiser.
Have you ever asked yourself these questions at some point in life?
What is creativity? What is the creative process? Who is creative? Do we create to survive? Is creativity a glitch, an anomaly in normal cognitive processes? Is there such a thing as normal? Who is creative? What qualifies as creativity? Do you need a qualification to be deemed creative?
If yes, come join the Science-Art-Life Choir & Conference to find your answers, through a series of collaborative sonic and performative experiments. This call is open to anybody who is curious. Restricted to 10 participants only.
About the artist: Shreyans is a Mumbai based conceptual artist and performer. As a maker, Shreyans looks to precipitate the innate creativity present in all beings, through the design and execution of interventions; unpacking the diverse responses offered with those involved.
- Seats are limited so register for your place by sending an email, with your phone number to: paradox.axiomatic@gmail.com.
- Due to the fluid nature of the workshop, partial attendance is disruptive. By registering you are committing to attend the whole session.
- Please be present at the venue 15 minutes before the start of the workshop.
- The workshop will involve light to moderate physical activities. Participants are advised to wear clothing that is comfortable to move in.
Science-Art-Life Choir & Conference is realised within the framework of Five Million Incidents 2019 - 2020 supported by Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan in collaboration with Raqs Media Collective.
