Learn the fine sport of fishing using the right choice of equipment and bait. Fishing is a peaceful activity as much as it fun! If you do it properly with a knowledge of the local water habitat & a minimum human footprint, it is a sport that is sensitive to the environment as well!

With November soon approaching, we will be in much cooler weather and the chance to get to the outdoors by the lakeside and enjoy a day of 'catch and release' fishing! This technique has its roots in wild conservation, and considers that recreational fishing can be practiced without damaging the water body's eco-system. Few things come close to an adventurous day out, getting your hands dirty while having some fun and coming home with some fond fishing memories to share.

Join us for an overnight fishing trip at Bamnoli near Kaas Plateau, situated a few hours (drive) away from Pune as we spend the weekend camping under the stars on the lake banks, learning about fishing, and spending the late evening and early morning trying our hand at this fun sport!

Day 1

Our private bus will do the pickup from Restaurant Blue Nile

8:00 am : Departure from Pune

12:00 pm : Reach Bamnoli Campsite.

12:30 - 1:00 pm : Lunch

1:00 pm - 4:30 pm : Knowledge brief about fishing equipment& techniques + tents and camp setup

4:30 pm - 5:00 pm : Tea and biscuits

5:00 pm - 6:30 pm : Finish fishing equipment setup

7:00/7:30 pm : Early dinner

7:30 pm - 10:30 pm : Fishing by the lakeside

Return to campsite, end of day 1

Day 2

4:00 am : Wake up and freshen up

5:00 am - 8:00 am : Second Fishing session

8:00 am - 9:00 am : Have Breakfast

9:00 am : Depart for Pune

1pm : Reach Pune

Trip facilities:

Please wear non-bulky full body clothing like track pants, pullovers or jackets preferably bright coloured.

• Bait rag (A rough hand towel)

• Binoculars (optional)

• One water bottle (you can fill your bottle from our mineral water dispensers)

We do not provide alcohol or alcoholic beverages and do not encourage anyone to carry any during the course of the trip.

Any-one found under the influence of alcohol, drugs or narcotics will be requested to leave the trip immediately, without any refund.

Angling or recreational fishing is purely for adventure lovers and not for party groups; we respect nature and do our best to keep our environment clean and avoid carrying plastic. We will provide you with trash bags to dispose any litter. Please do not litter the river and the camp.
