Their music is modern pop-rock with multiple musical influences and each member brings to the band his virtuosity and experience, as well as a camaraderie and chemistry of many years. Their set consists of high-energy originals, and wide variety of covers, spanning the range of their influences. Peepal Tree's sound can be broadly described as modern pop rock, but the band likes to stretch that definition a little bit. Memorable choruses and steady grooves can be expected, as well as elements from musical styles as varied as Indian classical, reggae, electronica, jazz, funk, and anything else they think might make a song more interesting and more fun! The band comprises Tony Das on guitars, Willy Demoz on drums and percussions, Praveen Biligiri on bass, and Sujay Harthi on vocals. Each musician in the band brings a wealth of experience to this new project, having been part of some of the most successful bands from India. Peepal Tree has collectively played more than 1500 concerts globally, in their other projects, and have been a part of the Hindi and Kannada movie industries.
