Resin Workshop

Resin art has become one of the most popular art forms today. Chances are, you probably already know what resin art is or you’ve at least come across the name before. This medium is super fun to work with and allows you to make gorgeous (and even functional) artwork!

If you didn’t already know, the resin is a chemical that comes in two components - resin and hardener. When mixed in the right proportion, they harden to create the beautiful glass-like finish this art medium is famous for. 

This is a beginner-friendly workshop where the participants will learn deeply about resin art from scratch. 

What will you learn in the workshop?

• How to work with resin and hardener
• Mixing
• Priming
• Working with different kinds of pigments
• Working with geode crystals
• Different timings
• Prerequisite for resin art
• Do’s and Dont’s

Flow of the session:

• Introduction to resin
• Basics of resin
• Equipment needed for resin art
• How to use crystals

Materials required:

The art kit will comprise of following items:

1. Resin + Hardener
2. Wooden base
3. Clock machine and needles (in case of clocks)
4. 3 pigments
5. 1 glitter
6. Crystals
7. 50 ml gesso
8. 1 pair of gloves
9. 4 ice cream sticks
10. 2 straws
11. 4 paper cups

About the artist: Rimjhim Garg (ArtDelight Group)

Rimjhim is a self-taught artist whose forte is acrylics and resin. She was an engineer by profession but her passion for art compelled her to leave her IT job and pursue art full time. 

She founded the ArtDelight Group in 2016 with a vision to form a community where people could connect through Art. Over the years, she has conducted more than 300 workshops and connected more than 5000 people with Art.
