Sacred Currents is a show created and performed by Sarah MeeRan Cave, an international violinist and composer. This intimate show explores the varying energies we carry, and how to navigate the unpredictable journey. In a raw, honest search for Truth, Sarah shares her nomadic adventure through music, poetry and narrative. Having studied both Western Classical, Hindustani Classical among other genres, Sarah weaves together both Western and Eastern flavors in a unique, enjoyable and accessible manner.

Abhay Nayampally:

Abhay Nayampally, a senior disciple of The Late Maestro Vidwan Mandolin U Srinivas, is an established Carnatic classical guitarist. He has many accolades to his name and has shared a stage with many stalwarts of the Indian classical music fraternity. With hundreds of concerts to his credit He has been awarded the title of Sangeet Kalaratnam.

Chandana Bala Kalyan:

A rare breed of singer-songwriter in the world of Indian Classical music, Chandana Bala Kalyan is known for her unusual musical dexterity. Trained as a Carnatic musician under the tutelage of RK Srikanthan and H Sudhindra, Chandana’s music is stamped with her classical roots and influences from other musical styles like Hindustani, Sufi and Jazz.

Akshay Jadhav:

Akshay Jadhav, an upcoming name in the field of music, is a versatile tabla player and also plays different Percussions like the Djembe, Cajon, Darbuka, Dhol, Dholak and many other instruments. He has learned from and performed with many well established artists across major cities in India.
