About the Event
Trippy Sama is a world music project that brings together musicians from all parts of the world. Their music is performed with the intention of holding a sacred space for all, creating a transformative and soul-touching experience through the use of ethnic instruments.
Two Extra Lives proudly presents Trippy Sama, a melting pot of global sounds. This eclectic collective seamlessly blends Indian classical music with influences from across the globe, amplified by vibrant electronic elements. The soothing bansuri and rhythmic alghoza evoke tradition, while the handpan and didgeridoo cultivate a meditative space. Meanwhile, the sarod, guitar, and bass harmonize beautifully, anchored by the cajon’s beats and soulful vocals.
