Shrinathji is a form of Hindu god Krishna, manifested as a seven-year-old child. This childish innocence and mischief is a prominent theme of many Pichwai paintings. So many in fact than an entire subsection of the artform is dedicated to the painting the Lord’s pictures.

In this 400-year-old visually stunning art, Shrinathji’s figurines are drawn with other important elements that were the part of his life like cows and the likes to decorate surroundings. The compositions depict the many famous life tales of the Child Avatar of Lord Krishna, each story uniquely suited to a particular season or festival.

This is a two-day session conducted on zoom for one and a half hour each day.

It is a live session and no recordings will be provided.

The workshop will be conducted in Hindi.

Time: 11:00 am – 12:30 pm (one and a half hour session per day)

It might exceed by 15 mins since we will be teaching the details.

The artwork may or may not finish during the session. We shall start and finish as much as possible and send you a complete image of what is taught during the session.
