Experience a fun Friday Jazz night with talented Shreya Bhattacharya on Vocals, Anthony Cammarotha on Guitar and Avishek Dey on Bass at The BlueBop Cafe, 09.00 pm onwards.

Shreya Bhattacharya is a vocalist, performer and a voice trainer from Kolkata, currently working in the top music circuits in Mumbai. She has trained under widely acclaimed musicians including Natalie John(New York), Veronica Nuns (Brazil), Parker McCallister (Brooklyn), Carolina Calavache (New York), Karina Collis ( New York) to name a few. Extensive singing styles and her uniquely textured warm voice diversifies highly on Soul, RnB, Jazz, COntemporary besides world music like Portugese, Spanish, etc. Apart from being a live performer on some of the most hallowed stages in the country today, she is also a vocal coach with a rich experience in teaching students across different levels of expertise. She has been involved in numerous Bollywood projects and has a commendable portfolio as a jingle artist, VO artist, and has even featured in multiple commercial collaborations.

Anthony Cammarota is a Southern California born multi-instrumentalist, composer, and bandleader. At the age of 9 Anthony began studying guitar and performing professionally as a teenager. Developing his passion led him to become a student at the Orange County High School of the Arts where he graduated top of his class as the premier jazz guitarist. After high school, Cammarota relocated to Seattle, Washington in order to study at Cornish College of the Arts where he received his B.M. in Jazz Performance after completing a 4 year undergraduate program. During his time at Cornish he studied jazz & classical guitar, music theory and composition under notable professors such as Dave Peterson, Michael Nicollela, James Knapp and Tom Varner. While in Seattle Anthony began to perform and associate with international musicians such as Bill Frisell, Rudresh Mahanthappa, Peter Bernstein and Wayne Horvitz, which led him to become a bandleader and composer in his own right.

Anthony has performed, composed and recorded music across North America, Europe and Asia, cultivating an extensive academic background and vast professional industry experience. Being equally skilled on both guitar and bass had led him to work with an eclectic variety of performing artists in the jazz, rock, pop, funk, hip-hop and electronic worlds. As both a performer and educator Anthony Cammarota has a deep command of musicianship that defies genres and creates a unique sound of his own.

Avishek Dey, on Bass from Kolkata, is widely known for his versatility and vocabulary. He has trained under prominent bass players Ric Fierabracci and Mathew Garrison. Abhishek is also a highly respected guitar teacher. Playing in the live circuit for the past 12 years, he is a Full-Ride scholar and Diploma holder from Swarnabhumi Academy of Music (Chennai). He has trained under the biggest names of the Global Music fraternity including Garry Willis, Rick Fierabracci, Christian Galvez and Matthew Garrison, Ricardo Vogt, Parker McCallister and Steve Zerlin. 

His genres of expertise include Jazz, RnB, Soul, Pop, Gospel, Rock, Funk, Jazz Fusion, Latin/Bossa Nova, Swing, Be Bop and Contemporary Jazz. He has collaborated with International artists including Yuichiro Tokuda (Japan), Erick Truffaz (Germany), Anthony Cammarotha (L.A), Aron Nyiro (Hungary), Jim Porto(Brazil), Richardo Vogt (Brazil) among others. Avishek also actvely plays alongside Ranjit Barot, Luis Bankz, Darshan Doshi, Rasika Shekar, Srinjay Banerjee Trio, Anthony Cammarotha Quintet, etc.
