About the artists:

Bhargav:

Bhargav is an accomplished Sarod player and is well known for his passion and art both nationally and internationally. He started learning the basics of Sarod under late Shri Shashikant Gundani in Ahmedabad for over a year and then found a Guru in Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, the world-renowned Sarod maestro.

With the guidance and encouragement of Ustadji, a distinct style of playing the instrument has been developed emphasizing more on the aesthetics and imaginative rendering of raga.

Over the years, numerous performances have been given by Bhargav such as Music Department in MS University of Baroda, Blind Men's Association, Hutheesing Visual Art Centre, Alliance Francaise at Ahmedabad, Osho Centre, South Indian Cultural Association of Udaipur, Habitat Centre at New Delhi and other private baithaks.

Neeraj:

Neeraj has been passionate towards percussion from an early age. He commenced his training at a tender age of five, under the guidance of Pandit Ramkrishna Bose. He has keen sense of aesthetics in rendition of the instrument. Apart from Guru Shishya parampara, Neeraj has undergone formal training in Tabla from Sarbabhartiya Sangeet O Sanskriti Parishad Kolkata passing with distinction in 7th year.
