This monsoon, The Bombay Canteen is hosting Kommune’s storytellers for an evening full of recitals, rains and romance in association with Hennessey Very Special.
The room is warm, filled with toddies, the aroma of piping hot pakoras and enlightening conversations. It’s intimate too with our storytellers sharing stories inspired by their surroundings, memories of rushing home in the rains, and perhaps a few about dancing in it. Stories that’ll take people right back to abandoning their umbrellas to jump in a puddle, sneezing their way through the rains, sipping hot soup while cuddling up and wondering how life became so good. These stories are all true, proof that through the storm, we find solace in each other through the floods and the inconvenience, the rains have always been just slightly romantic– and the music and stories will remind every single person of just that. Our storytellers aren’t going to just be telling any stories. They’ll be reading out of their monsoon diaries.
We promise you an evening of monsoon magic–because words will always be the most magical of things. So buy your ticket today and swing by for a toddy, garam pakoras and acoustic memories.
Inclusive of Venue entry, free flowing pakoras, one toddy of choice
