"Paris is such a melting pot of cultures. In the one year that I lived there, I must have eaten food from all over the world! My favourite ritual was going to Gare du Nord every Sunday with my French friends. We would walk around "Little India'' and I would be SO nostalgic about home and most importantly - home food. My favourite restaurant is called Dishny and I had a fixed order each Sunday (chicken curry, coconut rice and masala chai). 

For our 2nd chef collaboration for #TableNo13 we're working with a young and dynamic chef, Shriya Shetty from Pupkins Kitchen, Mangalore. Shriya started cooking when she was 17 and her personal style of food is Manglorean. For this dinner, we're re-imaging my Little India in Paris. I'm challenging Shriya to make Mangalore meet Paris, through her food. What does that look like? Think French techniques with classic Mangalorean flavours. I'm excited to see her spin on Ghee Roast and Filter coffee (amongst others). You shouldn't miss this one :)"
