About the destination:

Pondicherry is a French colonized town located on the East coast. The town was the French settlement for more than 350 years and the breeze of the French history is still felt in the streets of Pondicherry. The colonial architecture with tall Yellow painted buildings & beautiful streets will pose for good pictures of your camera.

The beautiful beaches, the French-Italian-Tamil cuisines, good French bakeries, shopping, and some good drinks are the trend that makes people enjoy the complete experience in Pondicherry.

Basics:

• Total slots for the trip: Usually 10 or more
• Accommodation: At our beautiful home-stay on sharing basis (Non AC)
• Food: 2 Breakfasts included. Remaining food self-sponsored

Travel:

• Tempo or mini-bus depending on final numbers (Non-AC)
• Starting time: Friday night around 9:00 PM
• Ending time: Monday morning around 5 AM
• Pickup/Drop spots: Tin Factory, Indiranagar 100 Feet Rd, Koramangala Sony World, Silk Board, Electronic City toll

Schedule:

Day 0 (Friday):

• Start from Bangalore, overnight journey to Pondicherry

Day 1 ( Saturday):

• Reach Pondy early in the morning check into the home-stay
• Freshen up, have a nice & fulfilling breakfast
• Explore French colony by foot. Experience the culture, visit the monuments, museum, have lunch & visit Aurobindo ashram
• Head to the light house of Pondicherry that clearly portrays the Beaches, French colony and other parts of Pondicherry from the altitude of 100 ft tower. Viewing the town from tallest tower will give you a memorable experience.
• Drive to Serenity Beach play in the water, walk barefoot
• Head back to the home-stay, take a nice shower
• Get set for the in-house party, with delicious ordered Dinner, try Pizzas, Pastas etc!

Day 2 (Sunday):

• Fuel up with good Breakfast, freshen up and check out of our home stay
• Head straight to paradise beach, play in the water one more time, or just play Frisbee, refresh at change rooms there
• Shop shop shop! Pondy is an awesome shopping destination. The clothes, chocolates, souvenirs, leather items...what not!
• Stop over for Lunch at a restaurant
• Enjoy the glittering evening at the Rock beach & spend a leisurely time looking at the waves.
• For the street food lovers, things like spicy macaroni, chocolate café, famous mutton samosa are the actual treat for taste buds!
• And finally say Au revoir (good bye) to Pondicherry and head back to Bangalore!!

Day 3 (Monday):

• Reach home early in the morning
• Share your beautiful Pondicherry weekend story with your friends and family ;-)

• Organizer from MT to look after all activities

Important notes:

• The trip is of exploratory nature. No guide will be there anytime.
• A Whatsapp group will be created for all the registered folks a night before the event
• Information like exact pick up locations, things to pack etc will be shared in the group
