Sukanya and Tejas invite you to their homes for an intimate baithak and dinner. In an effort to bring classical music closer to people, and to encourage artists in their imaginative pursuits, they are opening up their living room for monthly, classical concerts.

Join in and explore the intricacies of classical music together, and sometimes, simply lose yourself to the flow of the music. Their living room is cozy, and has just enough space for everyone to be able to enjoy the music and compare notes with each other from time to time. Feel free to ask questions and express your pleasure as the artist takes you on his journey.

This month, Sukanya and Tejas are happy to present an exceptional artist, all the way from Pune. Shri Mandar Gadgil, a classical vocalist, has been honing his skills under the tutelage of Pt. Vijay Koparkar for over fifteen years. He has won various awards and accolades - including the prestigious Vasantrao Deshpande Yuva Gaurav Puraskar and the first prize at the national AIR competition - for his extraordinary performances. On tabla, he will be accompanied by Shri Saptak Sharma, upcoming tabla exponent of the famous Ajrada Gharana. He has been learning from the legendary Ustad Akram Khan for the last ten years and has performed at various stages across the country, and globally. Son of the eminent harmonium player and Padma Shri awardee Late Ustad Mahmood Dholpuri, Shri Zakir Dholpuri will accompany Mandarji on the harmonium.
