We’re excited to announce the inaugural edition of The Indian Comics Festival which will take place on October 7th from 1 PM onwards at House of Pandora in Bandra.

The festival will feature presentations from creators like Anand Radhakrishnan, Abhijeet Kini, and Santanu Hazaika, who will also be a part of a panel discussion with Saahil Sharma (founder of Cheese Burger Comics) and Aniceto Pereira (from Studio Ekonte and Comix India), led by Mojorojo (Rohan Joshi).

In addition to this, Ayushi Rastogi will conduct a workshop on storyboarding and publishing comics.

As a part of the festival, we have organised #TheComicBookContest for independent illustrators and comic book artists, providing them with a platform to showcase their talents; No restrictions on style, genre or page number. The winner will have their comic book officially published and marketed by The Comic Book Store.

You can also join a fun comic quiz hosted by Mr. Anand Sivakumaran, with prizes for the top three winners. And to end the day, enjoy live performances by Tarana Marwah (aka KOMOREBI), and Todh Teri; and a DJ set by Blurry Slur.

The festival will also feature cool pop-up stalls by The Revolver Club, The Comic Book Store, Cheese Burger Comics and Superkicks, from 1 PM to 6 PM.
