The SATTVIK TABLE
Experience the pure essence of vegetarian dining with award-winning Chef Anjali Prabhu Walavalkar. Journey through flavors as Chef Anjali curates a soulful menu, embracing the simplicity and richness of traditional ingredients and authentic cooking techniques. Every Friday, Chef Anjali brings this unique dining experience to Kamaxi College of Culinary Arts, Verna – Goa.
Menu
Sabudana Vada - A savory crisp and soft snack made with sago, potatoes, nuts, and fresh coriander.
Lonche - A fresh pickle made with local vegetables.
Harve Kelle Karam - A raw banana salad that adds to the sattvik appeal and taste.
Tomato Saar - A fresh tomato accompaniment, enjoyed plain or with Masale Bhat.
Masale Bhat - A mild rice preparation with nuts and vegetables.
Mooga Oosali - A healthy side dish made with sprouted green gram, offering a smoky flavor.
Panchamrut - A zesty accompaniment made with sesame seeds, coconut, nuts, green chillies, tamarind, and jaggery.
Dudhi Bharte - A cool red pumpkin side dish.
Taak - A refreshing bowl of buttermilk.
Papad - A crisp, homemade taste enhancer.
Puran Poli - A melt-in-the-mouth dessert made with wheat flour, chana dal, and jaggery, best enjoyed with ghee.
Modak - A steamed dessert made with rice flour, jaggery, and grated coconut, favored by Lord Ganesh.
Fruit Salad - A medley of fresh fruits.
Plain White Rice - A simple and comforting staple.
