The process of tie-dye typically consists of folding, twisting, pleating, or crumpling fabric or a garment, before binding with string or rubber bands, followed by the application of dye. tie-dye is characterised by the use of bright, saturated primary colours and bold patterns.

What they will learn:

• how to tie-dye a t-shirt 
• different types of folds
• how to make different patterns
