A celebratory evening for the legendary artist S.H. Raza. An art gathering presented by Bombay Drawing Room to pay a tribute to India’s finest artist. The warm earthly tones, geometric patterns & the radiating concentric circles can all be associated to S.H. Raza’s painting styles. He was an artist who gave the Indian art industry its famous ‘bindu,’ and dominated the country’s art scene for decades.

Raza is credited to have popularized Indian concepts and iconography across the globe and created a legacy of modern Indian art. The late artist was best known for his use of geometric shapes and the vibrant appeal that he gave to each of his artworks. Raza’s signature style showcased the ‘bindu,’ or the dot, that portrayed the ‘one’ as well as the ‘infinite’ in Indian philosophy.

Join in to celebrate & get inspired by his art as you paint your impressions of his work & style. It will be a guided canvas painting session, so painters, non-painters of all levels are welcome, no experience in painting needed. All the art material will be provided by them along with refreshments.
