ABOUT THE FEATURED POET: Sikata Sitiratna

A lawyer by profession and a poet by passion, Sakata finds joy in exploring the world of words, art, and music. Hailing from the culturally rich city of Bhubaneswar, her poetry often draws inspiration from the vibrant tapestry of life, balancing the roles of a creative soul and a full-time mom to my spirited 2-year-old.

Through her writing, she aims to reflect on the nuances of life, blending my love for painting, music, and anything creative into verses that resonate with authenticity and emotion. Her poems celebrate the beauty in everyday moments, the resilience of the human spirit, and the power of self-expression.
