Uncover the mystery of watercolours through this landscape painting party with us. Join us as we make this beautiful landscape painting using elements of perspective, values, form and play of light vs dark, while also learning to make clouds, trees and create a sense of distance.  

Level: Don't worry, this landscape painting party works for both absolute beginners as well as seasoned artists because we will be covering the basics of watercolours before we start painting the main themes. The workshop is for adults as it will be fast paced, but kids above 12 can also register

About the Instructor: Sai Priya Mahajan is an Indian Contemporary Artist who recently won the Outstanding Watercolor Award at the Boldbrush Contest. An engineering graduate from IIT Bombay, she has now exhibited in India (Mumbai, Bangalore, Chandigarh) as well as internationally (NY, Philadelphia - USA, Toronto-Canada, Taipei-Taiwan) and is part of several Art Associations including the International Watercolor Society, Philadelphia Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, USA and a lifetime member of the Art Society of India. Sai loves to share the joy of painting by teaching various art forms and has conducted many art workshops in the past.

Rough Schedule

First 5 mins - Introduction

Next 1 hr - Techniques, strokes & practice exercises

Next 1 hr - Painting using learnt techniques

Last 5 mins - Wrap up and photos

Materials: you have to arrange for this. You will need some watercolors, 1 medium size round brush of size between 6-10, 1 small size round brush of size between 0-3, 1 half inch wash brush or big flat brush, watercolor paper preferably 250+gsm or thick paper/ sketchbook paper about A4 or 9X12 inches in size, masking tape, a pencil, eraser, and some basics like tissues, 2 water containers, some rough papers, hair dryer (optional), and a plate/palette. To get the best results it is preferable to use 300gsm watercolor paper and artist grade watercolors.

Please be ready with all required materials at least 5-10 mins before the start of the session. Register using the participants name, email & phone number, on which whatsapp is functional, this is where all communication will be sent. Please note that all timings are in IST (GMT+5:30hrs).

Late entries are not allowed. Please familiarise yourself with Zoom and its usage so you can join in on time, and have no trouble during the session. Zoom link will be sent to you 10 mins before the start of the session on whatsapp.

Important T&C: Ticket price is per user per session. For example, if two people are attending using one login, please pay for 2 people. This ticket is valid only for the said date and time and cannot be used for other workshops. Videos not included. Non-refundable. Tickets once booked, cannot be cancelled/ rescheduled/refunded.
