There are many artists who can teach you portraiture in oil and acrylics but when it comes to watercolor portraits, you must attend a workshop by Manoj Sakale. Words fall short when trying to describe the beauty of his unique style in watercolor portraits and the brilliance of his compositions that weave a story into every painting. In his own words, our immediate surroundings and happenings knowingly or unknowingly are observed, absorbed and adapted as also reflected, represented or recreated in the creative pursuit as an artist.

Manoj holds a Diploma in Art Education from Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune and has won numerous awards in his career. His workshops are sought after by art lovers and art students alike because of his passion to teach the right way. He conducts his workshops in a manner that focuses on the student's learning rather than simply celebrating his artistic brilliance. He has conducted many demos and workshops including at the J J School of Arts, the Art Society of India, SNDT, Sanskar Bharti Mumbai and Pune to name a few.

The workshop is suitable for anyone who is practising watercolor painting or portraiture (age 16+ only). The artist demo, instructions and participants practise will all be based only on LIVE MODEL painting. While one day is very short to cover such an interesting subject, the methods and content of the workshop will be adapted to suit the unique needs of the participants.

The workshop fees are inclusive of art material required for the workshop, EXCEPT paint brushes for which you can bring your own set of brushes. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. As always at Indigo Mustard we ensure everything is taken care of so that you can focus on art and art alone.
