1. The person on the top holding your line has control over your descent.

2. You have a control over the speed of descent.

About Diksal Waterfall Rappelling:-

Diksal waterfall is located at Bhivpuri in Karjat district of Maharastra. Diksal waterfall is a seasonal waterfall that comes to its full glory in monsoon. Diksal is one of the most favorite waterfall rappelling places near Mumbai and Pune for all the adventure lovers.

Diksal waterfall emerges in monsoon when torrential rainfall starts in the region. With a height of 135 km, it gives a thrilling experience to people who want to have a happening, action packed and adventurous holiday. The rappelling offers a small hiking through forests and chance of bird watching along the way.

Itinerary:

Meeting Point: 07:35 am at Bhivpuri Railway Station.

Catch Karjat Slow Train: Starts at CST 05:20 am - Get down at Bhivpuri 07:29 am.

Breakfast will be provided at the village.

08:30 am: Start Trek till the waterfall.

A short hike up the hill takes us to the rappelling point. The day will be spent in rappelling and spending time in the nearby pools and waterfalls.

04:30pm: Back to Bhivpuri station.

Things to carry:

Good trekking shoes

Flip-flops (preferable while traveling)

2 liters of water

Raincoat or poncho

Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits, etc.

Medicines if you require to take regularly (Optional)

A haversack to put in all the things to be carried

Avoid wearing gold and other ornaments.

In rainy season pack your bags accordingly to save them from getting wet
