About the Workshop:

Emotions are a part of us since our birth. We might not be aware of when and how we react while experiencing difficult emotions. Handling Anger and other difficult emotions appropriately right from a young age helps in development of positive relations in life. Parents must have experienced situations where managing temper tantrums and aggression are difficult. Join this session to help your children understand their emotions and learn positive ways of dealing with their anger.

This is a three-day workshop starting from Feb 15, 2021 to Feb 17, 2021. The session will happen for a period of one hour everyday from 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm IST.

About Shachi:

Ms. Shachi Koppikar, is a Clinical Psychologist and a Psychotherapist. She is currently working as the School Counselor for all sections of D.Y.Patil International School, Worli (That is, right from Early Years Programme to Diploma Programme). She worked for more than 6 years with ICSE, IGCSE and IB board of schools as a School Counselor.

She also has substantial experience in Psychological Testing & Diagnosis and facilitating Psychotherapy sessions catering to the needs of people from a age range of 5 years to 80 years. She primarily integrate Integral Somatic Psychology, REBT, Choice theory and Reality Therapy, Art therapy techniques in her Counselling sessions aiming at empowering her clients to deal effectively with their life situations. Her expertise is in facilitating psychotherapy sessions with clients having anxiety, depression and marital issues.
