🌟 Attention aspiring singers!🎤 Ready to take your singing career to new heights? 🚀 🎶 Mumbai Music Institute invites you to a transformative free workshop for studio singers and stage performers, featuring the one and only the Versatile Vocalist Yashita Sharma! 🎤 Don't miss out on this golden opportunity!
About Yashita Sharma:
Yashita Sharma is the voice behind renowned Bollywood songs like Gallan Goodiyaan from the movie Dil Dhadakne Do, Chaandaniya from 2 States. She has also sung in films like All the Best, Players and Chaalis Chauraasi. Being the 1st runner up on the famous reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009, there is no stopping to this talented girl. Language is no bar for Yashita, she can sing in Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi, Marvadi, Punjabi, Arabic and Spanish as well.
Following topics will be covered in the workshop:
Playback Singing:
- How to centre yourself
- Know your key
- Fix your mix
- Find your sweet spot on the mic
- Be on the same page as the MD
- Breathe right
- Know your flaws
- Talk less
- Stay hydrated

- Use the technology to your benefit
- Focus on emotion
- Always ask to give more variations
- Always listen to your work before leaving
- Don’t forget to send an invoice 😉
Stage/Live Performance:
It depends on the singer. Soft or loud. Not everyone needs to be a loud performer. But if you’re not a loud performer then you do need something in your last segment that takes the graph up. This is why they’ll remember you. Because you’re going to include them.
Maybe do a mashup of fast songs and take people along with you on a journey of classic hits that they can sing with you.
- Creating a setlist
- Confidence
- Mic technique
- Appearance from when you leave home
- Record rehearsals
- Address the audience
- Be yourself
- By heart your words
- A little gimmick doesn’t hurt
- Don’t Dance only on music
- Breathe
- Interact
- Let things flow naturally
- Always end on a high
- You could do a lull right before that
- How to breathe while you’re jumping
