moon, beyond the stars…”

In Tao of Pooh, a book by Benjamin Hoff, he talks about Bisy Backsons who are ambitious,

who are always late,

who always have somewhere else to be

and who always need to get something done first.

Winnie the Pooh doesn't understand them.

He only understands honey and that he wants to eat it.

But he also ends up always being the person solving all the problems of his friends and

feeling content. Winnie the Pooh figures it out without trying to figure it out, without using

cleverness or intellect but by using inaction, peace and patience.

While all the Bisy Backsons are looking for the Great Reward, Pooh is just swiping off the

last bit of honey.

Caught by timelines and tasks to complete, we remain crowded with thoughts, pressures and

ambitions.

In these yin yoga workshops, we will talk about the philosophy of taosim, wu wei, blended

with the physical and challenging practise of yin yoga and meditation.

A long juicy three hour session of yin drizzled with sweet spinal releases, creamy lower body

loosening, long deep meditations to invite a fresh acceptance into how we see life,

to get cosy in our warm blankets as we embrace and settle into a sleepy and fluffy quietness.

This is an inclusive class that invites differences of all kinds.

About the Facilitator:

Navya Sah is a certified Yoga Alliance 200-hour Yin Yoga Teacher and also works across the

realms of film, sound, dance and writing. She enjoys simplicity, slowness and detailed

observation-making.
