About the Event
Here’s your chance to witness the beauty of Hampi like never before. If you want to climb long standing boulders, swim in the snake lake river, listen to soulful music under the star studded sky you need be at Zero Gravity presented to you by Mind Map and Nyoka. Zero gravity Hampi bouldering and Music Festival is an annual gathering for Indian and international climbers, artists and musicians.
Zero Gravity festival is about unifying International and Indian climbers, artists and musicians all under one roof with the idea of creating an atmosphere where people from all walks of life can come together and experience what Hampi represents.
Hampi is one of the most stunning places in the world for bouldering with heaps of boulders perching on one another just sitting there to be climbed. Whether you are an amateur boulderer or a veteran looking for new problems, Hampi is the place to be. The boulders in hampi offers highballs, sloper problems, cracks, traverses, dynos, sit starts, arête climbing and even rope climbs. It is a paradise for all rock climbers and boulderers looking for new challenges and Hampi will not fail in doing the same.
Two long term Hampi climbers, Pil Lockey from UK and Harald Vierroth (Hari) from Germany have been coming to Hampi since 1992. They have given so much to the climbing world and they will be at the event overlooking the climbing areas.
The focus will be on many dedicated zones like dark power, waterfall area, paraport, junglie plateau, cosmic cave and many more. These areas have not been explored by many and are developed by none other than Pil Lockey and Harald Vierroth with the local boy Thimma Parasurama from Thimma climb.
The festival is not only about bouldering but also about feeling the hampi vibes with a cycle ride to the ruins, birdwatching at the bird sanctuary, wildlife safari, slacklining and trekking
MUSIC & ART
Zero Gravity plans on having a theme based art and music experience. This year the theme revolves around sacred geometry, natural and organic art work for festival ambience, and music with soundscapes which resonate with the unending epic landscapes of Hampi for your souls to flow with.
The line-up for the music performers will be from varied genres likes ambient, psybient, psychedelic, chill, down-tempo, post rock, instrumental and experimental music.
Sharing knowledge and good vibes is very essential for the energies to transfer between living beings, hence there are workshops on dream catcher making, crafts, Poi spinning, didgeridoo making and playing, djembe playing and more. There will also be music, artwork and band merchandise on display for sale.
It's going to be one week of adrenaline pumping adventure, soulful art and music and good vibes. This is your only chance to witness a rare phenomenon, where landscapes meet beautiful soundscapes to spread the message of oneness.

Reach Hampi at your convenience cross the river and report at Thimma Climb (Other side of Hampi). Shift to campsite, meet other climbers, take a walk and hike around the campsite, Witness an amazing sunset, Dinner around bonfire and relax.
Day 1 - 13/02/2017
Reach Hampi at your convenience cross the river and report at Thimma Climb (Other side of Hampi).
The first day is mostly about introduction to the activities, understanding basics of climbing, doing slacklining and bouldering at the campsite with wonderful boulders that needs to be climbed for the first time and also go to the waterfall area for climbing. Relax by evening at the campsite have a quiet time at the bonfire and savor the local delicacies.
Day 2 - 14/02/2017
Wake up early in the morning have breakfast and leave for paraport, a Boulder area with amazing problems from 4 to loads of 6c's and 7a's.
Reaching paraport requires a small trek through an amazing landscape. It is an Astounding place to explore, as it has some of the best classic problems of bouldering. We will be camping at paraport for some night climbing with lights and Campfire with stargazing through the night.
Day 3 – 15/02/2017
Wake up and get fresh at the local village and then move to hollow rock and explore the area as it is very less explored. We have some of the best high boulders with classic problems ranging from 5a to 7b+.
It is a Boulder heaven with many locations still untouched by climbers. These have been open by none other than harry from golden boulders a Pionier in Hampi bouldering scene. Come back to the camp site and then rest for the evening, Bonfire with dinner under the stars.
Day4 – 16/02/2017
We have arranged a visit to the only sloth bear sanctuary in asia, Daroji Sloth bear Sanctuary, to know and explore the area. Come back to campsite for a peaceful night with some Jamming around the camp fire with local musicians and artists.
Day 5 - 17/02/2017
We will start the day after breakfast at the black power area and the jungli area completing some classic problems. Jungli area has been majorly explored by a world famous climber settled at Hampi Phil who will be with us sharing his stories of Hampi.
Return to Our Art and Music Venue – Shanti Dhama for Art & Music Activity like live music, short movie screening & electronic chill music with Bonfire, camping & Stargazing (Line up will be up soon)
Day 6 - 18/02/2017
Adventure
Day 6 we will do a cycle ride around Hampi ruins starting from virupaksheswara temple and visiting all the major monuments and temples ending with vijaya vittala temple (Line up will be up soon)
Art & Music
Workshops – Dream Catcher making, Poi spinning, Didgeridoo Making & Playing, Djembe Playing (Line up will be up soon)
Performances – Live Bands, Solo artists & Electronic chill music (Line up will be up soon)
Day 7 - 19/02/2017

Festival closed by 5 PM.
Permanent toilet facilities at the camping site and music venue, Shanti Dhama will be available.
